Benedict Cumberbatch wears Emma Willis to the Met Gala 2019

Benedict Cumberbatch wears an Emma Willis Ivory Silk Riding Stock Tie Shirt, matching hand rolled silk pocket square and Ivory Silk Fringed Evening Scarf at The Met Gala 2019 last night, all designed and made at our Gloucester workrooms. The Dress for this year’s Gala was ‘Camp’, after the exhibition ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’, the theme of Anna Wintour’s Met’s Costume Institute Spring exhibition.’ Great as ever to work with Benedict’s brilliant tailor and stylist Joe Woolfe of Labassa Woolfe and thanks to our exceptionally talented head bespoke cutter Sam Wakeley for her speedy pattern making and cutting and our sewing room to create it all in time!
